I find it hard to believe the first 2/3 attempts worked but the following 12-15 all failed IN A ROW. I then tried a CD with the ISO burned on and holding C to boot from CD drive, 0/3. The next 10-12 attempts all failed, in a row. I restarted, tried again.įrom this point on, I could not get back to that screen. I tried to do so but it wouldn't respond at all to key strokes. The rest of the screen was all black but the same message at the top. All black with "No bootup disk was found, insert and press any key" something to that effect. I tried USB 1 and eventually ended up in a DOS-like environment. It worked but only had the option to boot from HD. The first time I held down the Option key after the chime plays, it did not work. I copied a Windows 7 iso from Microsoft's site to install via USB/CD. I am trying to install Win 7 on my MBP w/ Parallels.
